Asante Bronze Head - PF.2900 This bronze head is a beautiful, expressive representation of an ancestral figure. Its large arching eyebrows, protruding mouth, and the haunting cigar-shaped eyes undoubtedly portray the pensive, solemn, and benevolent constitution of the ancestor, who perhaps held power and a high position in Asante society. The sculptor of this bronze head has paid meticulous attention to details such as the beard and the unusual hairstyle.
